This simple
sammie recipe is one I enjoy quite often. My favourite type of bread for this
is the Schar
brand Deli-Style Gluten Free Bread, but feel free to use your favourite!
INGREDIENTS
2 slices GF deli
style bread
1 handful of
your favourite lettuce
1/2 of an
avocado, pitted, peeled and sliced
1/2 a ripe
tomato, sliced
pickled hot
banana peppers, as much as you like
1 tablespoon GF mayonnaise
salt to taste
pepper to
taste
DIRECTIONS
Toast the
bread slices and lay one slice on your work station.
Add the lettuce
and mayonnaise.
Layer with
the pickled hot peppers, tomatoes and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Top with the other
slice of toasted bread.
Enjoy!
