Maple Mustard Salmon Steaks

The combo of maple and mustard with the fresh basil is divine!! This cooks out so tender. This can be made using salmon fillets but you will have to adjust the cook time as the steaks are much thicker than most salmon fillets.

INGREDIENTS
2 (8oz each) 1 1/4 inch thick salmon steaks
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 teaspoons GF Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh basil
salt to taste
pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sprinkle both sides of the salmon steaks with salt and pepper.
Generously coat a baking pan with non-stick spray and place the salmon in pan.
Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the salmon.
Cook until fish flakes when poked with a fork, about 20 minutes, depending on thickness.
Remove from oven and serve.
