Buffalo Chicken Burger

This delicious burger should not be cooked on the grill, it should be cooked in the skillet as the meat mixture is quite loose. It gets a solid patty consistency as it cooks up.  For those of you who don't have access to Frank's RedHot Sauce, I do have a copycat recipe for it HERE

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pound ground chicken
1 egg
1 hot banana pepper, chopped fine
1 small onion, chopped fine
2 tablespoons Frank’s RedHot sauce
2 tablespoons GF bread crumbs
1 teaspoon GF Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup GF blue cheese salad dressing
4 leafs lettuce
4 GF hamburger buns

DIRECTIONS
Mix first 9 ingredients together and form into 4 patties.
Pour the olive oil into a skillet and bring to medium heat.
Add the patties and cook for about 7 to 8 minutes, until you can see the sides starting to change from pink to white, giving the pan a shake every once in a while so the patties don’t stick.
Carefully turn the patties over with a spatula and cook for another 7 to 8 minutes, until juices run clear when poked with a fork.
Place the cooked patties over the base of the buns and drizzle with blue cheese dressing.
Top with lettuce and add the top bun.
Enjoy!
