Smoked Chipotle Chicken Wings

This is recipe I put together for our smoker and it turned out so tasty. Just enough heat for me. Please keep in mind that the cook time is just a guideline as this can be different depending on size of wings and type of smoker you are using.

INGREDIENTS
4 pounds wings
2 bottles GF beer (I use New Grist)
4 cloves garlic, pressed
2 teaspoons ground chipotle chilli pepper
1 teaspoon GF soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon sea salt

DIRECTIONS
Place the wings in a large re-sealable plastic bag along with the beer, pressed garlic and soy sauce.
Marinate for 4 to 6 hours refrigerated.
Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients together and set aside.
Remove wings from marinade and toss in a bowl with the spice mix.
Smoke at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours or longer, until wings reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees on a meat thermometer. (This will vary greatly depending on size of wings and type of smoker you are using.
Toss with your favourite BBQ sauce and serve.
