Asian Seasoning

I use this a lot in stir-fries and over chicken or pork to add an Asian flare.


INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup ground black pepper
2 tablespoons ground ginger
2 tablespoons red pepper flakes

DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients together.
Place in an airtight container until ready to use.

  1. I made a small batch of this seasoning mix substituting Chinese Szechuan pepper for generic "red pepper flakes". This was good on fried eggs and in a rice bowl and especially good on deviled eggs! Prepared for the FYC tag game. Oh, be sure to use salt-free onion and garlic powder!
