Baked Pear for 2

This lovely dessert is so easy to make and tastes great. This is perfect on its own but served with a bit of whipped cream makes this a dessert over the top delicious!

INGREDIENTS
1 pear
2 teaspoons butter
2 teaspoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
Pinch cinnamon

DIRECTIONS
Slice the pear in half, remove core leaving a whole about the size of a tablespoon and set aside.
Mix together the remaining ingredients and place equal amounts of this mixture inside the hollowed core.
Place in a casserole dish and place in a preheated 400 degree Fahrenheit oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until softened. (This will depend on how ripe and how big your pear is; just poke it with a fork to see if it has softened enough for your liking.)
Enjoy!
