INGREDIENTS
1 medium onion
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon oregano
salt to taste
fresh ground pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Peel the onion and cut off the ends, slice it into four
rounds.
Mix together the oil and oregano and brush over both sides
of the onion rounds.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and place them over direct
heat of a pre-heated, medium-high grill.
Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes, until you have a few char
marks.
Carefully turn the rounds over and cook for an additional 3
to 4 minutes.
