Spicy Oven-Baked Shrimp Skewers

These are delicious skewers I make in the winter time when the BBQ is covered in snow. These are just as good as grilled skewers, if not better. The prep time listed does not include the marinating time.

INGREDIENTS
1 pound large shrimp
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

DIRECTIONS
Mix all the ingredients in a large re-sealable plastic bag until well coated.
Let sit in fridge for a couple of hours.
Place on skewers.
Coat baking sheet with non stick spray.
Bake in a preheated 425 degree Fahrenheit oven for 8-10 mins turning after 5 minutes

  2. Amazing tasting shrimp! The marinade ingredients perfectly season the shrimp it is litteraly finger licking good. I wound up grilling it on an outdoor grill, which is the first time we grilled this year and I'm so glad your recipe was the first! Thank you, Bea, for sharing. Made it for FYC.
