Baked Garlic Brown Rice

This tasty recipe is so easy to put together and tastes great!


INGREDIENTS
2 1/4 cups vegetable broth
1 cup brown rice
2 green onions, white and green parts, chopped
1 to 2 cloves garlic, pushed through garlic press
1 tablespoon butter

DIRECTIONS
Place the rice, onions, garlic and butter in a 9 inch round casserole dish.
Bring the broth to a boil and pour over the rice mixture.
Stir and cover with a tight fitting lid or a couple of layers of foil.
Cook for 50 to 60 minutes in a preheated 375 degree Fahrenheit oven. Start checking the rice the 50 minute mark to make sure it will not be overdone. Give it a shake to make sure it’s not sticking.
Remove from oven, fluff with a fork and serve.
