Spicy Bell Pepper and Onion Skewers

These delicious veggie skewers sure pack a punch and taste great. These are a perfect side to any grilled meat. If using wooden skewers make sure you soak them in water for 30 minutes.  For those of you who don't have access to Frank's RedHot Sauce, I do have a copycat recipe for it HERE


3 bell peppers
2 medium onions
2 tablespoons Frank's RedHot sauce
2 tablespoons oil (vegetable oil)
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste


Chop the peppers and onions into 1 inch pieces and mix in a large bowl with the remaining ingredients; allow to sit for 1/2 an hour.
Place the peppers and onions alternately onto skewers and grill until done to your desired doneness.
