Cooking Edamame

This popular healthy snack is so easy to make. I first tried it years ago at a Japanese restaurant. We were greeted, seated and offered a dish of these tasty soy beans pods. I could of ate just these, lol.

INGREDIENTS
1 pound frozen soy beans in pods.
1 1/2 tablespoon sea salt, plus more to sprinkle when cooked

DIRECTIONS
Bring a pot of water and 1 1/2 tablespoons salt to a boil.
Toss in the soy bean pods, boil for 3 to 4 minutes.
Drain and drizzle with a bit of salt.
Serve.
