This is 4 servings if serving as an appetizer or 2 servings if this is the main meal.
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds wings, split
1/8 cup avocado oil
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup tamari sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Lemon pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Pour the avocado oil, lemon juice, tamari and garlic powder in a large re-sealable plastic bag, swish to mix.
- Add the wings, seal the bag and shake lightly to coat wings; place in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours.
- Preheat oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Remove the wings from marinade and discard marinade.
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and place the wings on parchment paper.
- Place the wings in the oven and cook for 10 minutes, turn over and cook for another ten minutes or until cooked through (This will depend on thickness of wings.
- You can place the wings under the broiler for a couple of minutes if you want to crisp them up a bit but this is not necessary.
- Sprinkle with a bit of lemon pepper.
- Enjoy!

I made this the other night using 5 chicken wings with a weight of just under 1.5 pounds and I used soy sauce for the tamari as gluten is not an issue for me but could not get avocado oil so used olive oil and the end result was 5 delicious fall of the bone meat that was finger licking good.
