Maple Mustard Salmon

A quick and easy way to enjoy salmon fillets.

INGREDIENTS
1 (12-14 ounces) salmon fillet
2 tablespoons old fashioned grainy mustard
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, pressed
Salt to taste
Fresh ground pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
Generously coat the bottom of an 8 inch baking pan with non-stick spray and place the fillet inside the pan, skin side down.
Generously sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Mix the remaining ingredients together and pour over the salmon.
Place the pan in a preheated 375 degree Fahrenheit oven and cook until fish just starts to flake when poked with a fork at its thickest spot, about 15 minutes depending on thickness of fillet.
Enjoy!

  1. I made this recipe for our X-Mas Eve dinner w/my MIL & served it w/potatoes, vegetable gratin, stuffed pears & Icelandic Laufabrauð (a crisp flatbread). Seafood was requested by my MIL, salmon my pick & this recipe is the perfect way to combine a glaze w/the delicate flavor of salmon. The mustard product I used added dill & I was generous w/lemon pepper. Thx for sharing this recipe. We loved it!
