Wayne's Ketchup Chicken Wings

These wings are a big hit with the little ones. My husband used to love these as a child. His Mom made them quite often as it was a very inexpensive meal. He still loves these just as much now as I do also.

INGREDIENTS
1 pound split chicken wings
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
pinch cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS
Mix together the ketchup, water, garlic powder, hot sauce and cayenne pepper.
Place the wings in a 8x8 inch baking pan, add onions and pour the sauce over the onions and wings; cover with foil.
Bake in a pre-heated 325 degree Fahrenheit oven for 2 hours.
Remove the wings from sauce and place on a baking sheet; reserve sauce.
Place on top rack in oven and broil until skin starts to crisp.
Remove from oven, place on serving platter and spoon some of the sauce over the wings.
Serve.
