Turkey Stuffing

My favourite stuffing recipe was easily converted to gluten free by simply using gluten free white bread.

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup butter
2 onions, chopped
2 cups chopped celery
4 teaspoons dried sage
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried savoury
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
8 cups gluten free white bread, cubed

DIRECTIONS
In large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Fry onions and celery together with the dried herbs, salt and pepper, stirring often, until vegetables are tender, about 10-15 minutes.
Transfer mixture to large bowl. Add the bread cubes and mix well.
Stuff the turkey and cook accordingly.

*Please keep in mind that not all dried herbs and spices are gluten free so check the labels to make sure the brand you are using is gluten free. The same applies for prepackaged store-bought items, check the labels to be sure. If in doubt, call the toll free number on packaging to be safe and to make your cooking/eating experience truly gluten free.
