This tasty smoothie is perfect for breakfast or a snack in between meals. It is a recipe from my naturopathic doctor. If you don’t have pumpkin puree you can switch it up with cooked sweet potatoes.
1 cup pureed pumpkin
2 navel oranges, peeled and sectioned (remove all the white membrane)
1 frozen banana, peeled
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Throw all ingredients into your blender and blend very well until creamy.Pour into glasses and enjoy!
