Tuna and Tomato Pizza

This great tasting pizza is quick to put together and ready in 15 minutes. Make sure you use fresh basil for this pizza; the dried basil just doesn't work well. I like to drizzle a bit of balsamic vinegar over the cooked pizza but that is optional.

INGREDIENTS
2 -8” prepared GF pizza crusts (I use the frozen Kinnikinnick Brand)
1/4 cup GF Alfredo sauce
1 (170 gram) can tuna, drained
4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
2 ounces grape or cherry tomatoes (about 12)
4 teaspoons parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil
2 teaspoons finely chopped red onion
Fresh ground pepper
Garlic powder
Balsamic vinegar to sprinkle over cooked pizza (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Place the pizza crusts on a baking sheet and spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the crusts; give this a good sprinkle of garlic powder and sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the sauce.
Add the mozzarella cheese and top with the remaining toppings; sprinkle with fresh ground pepper.
Place in a preheated 375 degree Fahrenheit oven and cook for about 15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Remove pizza from oven and turn the broiler on; return the pizza to oven on the top rack and broil until cheese starts to bubble and brown, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove pizza from oven, allow cooling for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with a bit of balsamic vinegar if using, slice and enjoy!
