These chops turn out so moist and flavorful with just the
right amount of tang. Use your favorite jerk seasoning for this. If the jerk
seasoning you are using is salt free add 1/2 teaspoon salt to the marinade.
INGREDIENTS
2 (6 ounce each) bone in pork chops
1/4 cup water
Juice of 1 lime
1 tablespoon GF jerk seasoning
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
Place all the ingredients except for the chops in a large
re-sealable plastic bag and swish to mix.
Add the pork chops and take as much of the air out of the
bag as you can, seal the bag and marinate refrigerated for at least 8 hours.
Remove the chops from the marinade and cook on a pre-heated
grill over direct heat until no longer pink in the middle. The cook time will
depend on how thick the chops are; mine were 1/2 inch thick and took 5 minutes
per side.
Enjoy!
