Spicy Taco Seasoned Grilled Wings

These tasty wings are so easy to put together. I have been making these for ages and never really thought of this as a recipe until I served them up recently and was asked for the recipe. So, I took the time to write it down and here it is just for you Dee. I use the Old El Paso brand taco seasoning as it is gluten free.

INGREDIENTS
2 envelopes (35 grams each) Old El Paso Taco seasoning

1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 pounds split chicken wings

DIRECTIONS
Place the wings in a pot with 1 envelope taco seasoning and just cover with water, add the garlic and bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low, simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
Drain the wings in a colander and allow cooling until you can handle the wings.
Place the oil, cayenne pepper and the other envelope taco seasoning in a large re-sealable plastic bag and add the wings.
Seal the bag and toss to coat the wings.
Remove the wings from plastic bag placing them on a preheated medium-high grill.
Grill until warmed through and the skin has nice grill marks.
Enjoy!
