This is a traditional French Canadian Stuffing used to stuff the turkey. The bread stuffing is also served for the holiday dinner but it is cooked outside the bird.
INGREDIENTS
8 cups cooked potatoes, mashed
2 pounds ground pork
2 large onions, sliced thin
1/2 cup melted butter
8 slices of GF white bread, cubed
1 teaspoon sage, or more to taste
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Cook ground pork and onions together
until pork is cooked through.
Drain the meat.
Mix all ingredients together
and stuff bird.
