This is a great tasting steak recipe we really enjoy. I use my Montreal Steak Spice for this recipe but you can use your favourite gluten free Montreal Steak Spice.
2 boneless sirloin steaks (10 ounces each)
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon Montreal steak spice
fresh ground pepper to taste
Place the garlic and Montreal steak spice in a pestle and work into a paste with the mortar.
Sprinkle fresh ground pepper over steaks and rub the paste over all sides with a spatula; let sit for 5 minutes.
Grill the steaks over direct medium-high heat until cooked to desired doneness. I cooked these 2" thick steaks for 5 minutes per side and they were perfectly medium-rare.
