1 pound rainbow trout fillet
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Coat a rimmed baking sheet with non-stick spray and lay the fillet skin side down on the baking sheet; pat fish dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Mix together the olive oil, liquid smoke, garlic powder and oregano and rub evenly over the fillet with the back of a spoon.
Place the prepared fillet in a preheated 425 degree Fahrenheit oven.
Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on thickness of fillet.Enjoy!
