Air Fryer Saucy Ribs

These tasty ribs are so easy to put together. I used the Kraft regular BBQ sauce but go ahead and use your favorite sauce as the ribs do take on the flavor of the sauce quite nicely. They turn out tender and have the perfect sauce to meat ratio….. If you like salty ribs leave them in the brine for the full 2 hours.

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 pounds pork baby back ribs

2 cups water

2 tablespoons coarse salt

1/4 cup BBQ Sauce (I used Kraft Regular)

2 tablespoons Frank’s RedHot Sauce

DIRECTIONS

Mix the water with the coarse salt and microwave for 3 minutes. Stir well until salt is completely dissolve and allow to cool completely.

Remove the thin membrane the back of ribs. Do not skip this or you will have tough ribs.

Place the ribs and salt water in a large re-sealable bag; remove as much air as possible, seal and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours. (Do not leave them in the brine for longer then 2 hours or they will be too salty.)

Remove the ribs from salt water and pat dry.

Preheat air fryer for 2 minutes.

Place the ribs in the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 25 minutes until they have a light brown crispy crust on the outside. Give it a good shake at about the 10 minute mark.

Whisk together the BBQ sauce and Frank’s RedHot sauce and toss with the ribs.

Enjoy!
