Mustard Maple Veal Chops

These are great tasting veal chops we really enjoy, they are so easy to put together and taste great!

INGREDIENTS
2 bone in veal chops 1” thick (about 7 - 8 ounces each)
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon dark rum
1/2 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/8 teaspoon ground smoked chili peppers
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
Mix the vegetable oil, mustard, maple syrup, rum and ground smoked chili peppers in a re-sealable plastic bag, add the chops and garlic and swish together making sure the chops are well coated; take as much of the air out as you can and seal the bag.
Place in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
Remove the chops from the marinade and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook on a preheated grill for about 4 to 5 minutes per side while basting with the marinade. (The cook time depends on how you like your chops done; I like mine medium-rare so 4 minutes per side worked for me.)
Enjoy!
