Butter and Chives Baby New Potatoes

These buttery gems are sure to please any potato lover. I could eat a plateful of these taters!!

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds baby new potatoes
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
Dash garlic powder

DIRECTIONS
Clean the potatoes and peel a thin row across the center or poke them with a fork.
Cook cleaned potatoes in a pot of salted water until just tender but still firm, about 10 minutes.
Drain the potatoes and toss with garlic powder, vegetable oil, butter and chives.
Pour onto a rimmed baking sheet and place in a pre-heated 450 degree Fahrenheit oven; cook for another 15 minutes giving the pan a toss after every 5 minutes.
