Sweet and Spicy Baked Wings

This is a recipe I found in a Woman's World Magazine and just had to share them here, they are so tasty!! The original recipe doesn't call for this but, I tossed these with a bit more Frank's RedHot sauce when they were cooked. If you do not have access to the Frank's RedHot sauce I do have a copycat recipe for it HERE

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot sauce
3 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon chipotle chilli flakes or more to taste
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 pounds chicken wings split

DIRECTIONS
Mix hot sauce, 2 tablespoons of the oil, sugar, garlic, onion powder, red pepper flakes and cayenne in a large re-sealable plastic bag; swish together to mix.
Place the wings in bag and toss to coat; seal bag removing as much of the air as possible.
Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, turning bag around every so often.
Preheat oven to 400 Fahrenheit.
Place a sheet of foil over a large baking pan and coat with remaining oil.
Place wings in single layer on pan.  (Discard leftover marinade).  Bake wings for 30 minutes, turning half way through.
Turn oven to broil, move wings to top oven rack; broil 5 minutes.
Turn wings over.
Return to top oven rack; broil until golden brown.
Enjoy!
