This is a healthy
alternative to sour cream, cream cheese or even ricotta cheese. You can also use this to make dips.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups low-fat plain yogurt
1 teaspoon kosher salt
DIRECTIONS
Line a sieve with 2 layers
of cheese cloth or 2 standard paper coffee filters(not the cone type, they
don’t sit sieve properly).
Place lined sieve over a
bowl.
Mix the salt and yogurt
together.
Pour into the sieve and
cover with a clean towel.
Place in the refrigerator
overnight.
Place the yogurt cheese in a covered
container and keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
