This is a side rice recipe we enjoy often, it is so easy to put together and very tasty.
2 cup jasmine rice
2 cups water
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon GF chicken bouillon granules (or 1 mini knorr chicken bouillon tub)
1” piece of turmeric, grated
1/2 of a cooking onion, chopped
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
Melt butter in a skillet over medium high heat and add onions and mushrooms; cook until onions are translucent.
Transfer mushrooms and onions into a rice cooker and add remaining ingredients; stir, turn rice cooker on and let it run its course.Fluff the rice and serve.
