Sweet and Spicy Cocktail Wieners

This popular 70’s style appetizer is always a hit on game night or at pot-luck dinners. You can decrease or increase the heat by adjusting the Sriracha sauce, add a bit at a time and taste sauce as you go.

1 (500 gram) package GF cocktail wieners
1 (5.5 ounce) can tomato paste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup grainy mustard
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
2 teaspoons mustard powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Pepper to taste
Parsley for garnish

Whisk together the tomato paste, garlic, maple syrup, grainy mustard, vinegar, Sriracha sauce, mustard powder, onion powder and pepper.
Toss in the wieners; pour in a casserole dish and cover.
Place in a 250 degree oven and cook for 2 hours.
