This is a recipe I copied from dienia b over at Recipezazz but changed it up to
make it gluten free.
She writes that this is an old recipe she found while waiting at a doctor's office.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups cooked beets, sliced
1/2 cup vinegar
1/3 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
DIRECTIONS
Bring the vinegar, sugar and butter to a boil and stir until
sugar is completely melted.
Mix the cornstarch and water together and pour into the
vinegar mixture until heat until sauce thickens.
Pour over the cooked beets and serve.
