This is a great way to enjoy corn on the cob. I opened the
refrigerator door this morning and saw the cobs of corn sitting on top of a
package of bacon and thought, mmmmm those two would definitely go good together
and yup I was right. Bacon does make anything better ;)
INGREDIENTS
2 cobs of corn
150 grams bacon (6 to 8 slices)
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
garlic powder to taste
pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Soak the cobs of corn in water for about an hour.
Pull the husks back and remove the silks.
Sprinkle garlic powder over the corn, I like a good heavy
sprinkle but it’s all up to you.
Wrap the corn cobs with 3 to 4 slices of bacon.
Place the husks back over the bacon and wrap tightly with
two layers of foil.
Cook on the grill over direct medium-low heat, turning every
ten minutes for 1 hour.
Remove from grill and carefully unwrap the corn.
Remove and discard husks.
Place the cobs on a plate and sprinkle with the parmesan
cheese rolling the cobs of corn around on the plate to absorb the cheese.
Sprinkle with pepper.
Bite right through the bacon and ENJOY!
Sprinkled with the parmesan cheese and ready to be devoured!! |
