I have been
making this tasty vinaigrette regularly for ages now; it is one of my
favorites. It has fresh bold flavors we really love and it is really healthy. The
raw cider vinegar helps you to lose weight, lowers blood sugar levels, it kills
many types of bacteria, lowers your cholesterol and it is believed to help to
prevent cancer. The raw honey is a good source of antioxidant, it is an
effective germ killer, it has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-fungal
properties and helps digestive issues. The avocado oil also has many health benefits, too many to list, so I will stop with the health benefits here; this is a recipe not a health manual, lol. Please make sure you use raw cider
vinegar and raw honey or the flavor will NOT be the same.
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup raw
apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup
avocado oil
1/4 cup raw
liquid honey
1/2
teaspoon old fashioned grainy Dijon mustard
1 clove
garlic, processed through garlic press
Pinch salt
Pinch
pepper
DIRECTIONS
Whisk all
ingredients together and store refrigerated until ready to use.
Enjoy!

Very nice vinaigrette. I really like that the dressing is still tangy even with the addition of the honey. This is a great dressing to keep on hand. Made for FYC - Nancy : )
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it :-)
DeleteLove this dressing! I've tried vinaigrettes every which way, and I must say this is my favorite so far! One thing I tried doing differently is to grate the garlic, and this seems to make all the difference. Thanks for posting a keeper, Bea!
ReplyDeleteThx for trying it and for taking the time to review it :-)
