Wayne's Ketchup Wings

My husband just loves these wings and makes these quite often. His mother used to make these when he was a young boy and they were his favourite treat. These are always a hit with the little one's.

INGREDIENTS
1 pound split chicken wings
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
pinch cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS
Mix together the ketchup, water, garlic powder, hot sauce and cayenne pepper.
Place the wings in a 8x8 inch baking pan, add onions and pour the sauce over the onions and wings; cover with foil.
Bake in a pre-heated 325 degree Fahrenheit oven for 2 hours.
Remove the wings from sauce and place on a baking sheet; reserve sauce.
Place on top rack in oven and broil until skin starts to crisp.
Remove from oven, place on serving platter and spoon some of the sauce over the wings.
Serve.
