“A healthier version of the popular grilled burger. Serve with your favourite condiments. Also good with your favourite barbecue sauce brushed on while grilling”
1 pound lean ground turkey
3/4 cup old-fashioned GF oatmeal
1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, minced
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
1/2 teaspoon GF Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt, to taste
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 GF hamburger buns
Prepare an indoor or outdoor grill.
Combine all ingredients except buns in a bowl. Mix well (use your hands).
Divide turkey into 4 equal portions, shaping into a patty 1/2-inch thick.
Place patties on grill rack; grill 7 minutes on each side or until done.
Serve these burger patties on your favourite GF hamburger buns.
